Cranham Scout Centre is open to schools. We have an increasing number of schools booking to use the centre, but still have space for many more.
Schools use the centre in a number of different ways:
A number of schools hold one or two night camps on site. For example Marling School in Stroud bring their Year 7s at the beginning of the school year to do a range of getting to know you and team building activities. Equipment is available to hire for camping or you are welcome to bring your own.
Some schools use the centre for residential experiences indoors. For example in June, Widden school in Gloucester bought forty young people for two nights. They used the indoor accommodation, but also gave everyone the chance to camp outside as well. They used our catering and a range of on-site and self organised activities while they were here.
Schools also enjoy just coming for the day and exploring the centre with its wealth of nature and range of activities.
